Prepare For Your Appointment

Welcome to the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center

We believe well-informed patients make better decisions and have better outcomes. Here is what your journey with us looks like, from the first call through recovery and beyond.

1. Your initial consultation

  • You meet with Dr. Hosn for an unhurried discussion of your goals and concerns.
  • He performs a clinical assessment and explains how he can help you reach the result you want.
  • You review before-and-after photographs, discuss risks and benefits, and get clear answers to every question.
  • Most patients meet with Dr. Hosn at least twice more before surgery, so nothing proceeds until you are ready.

2. Preparing for surgery

  • We arrange your pre-operative lab work and any diagnostic tests you need.
  • Medical clearance, where required, is coordinated with your primary care physician.
  • You receive detailed pre-operative instructions covering medications to avoid and what to bring.
  • We help you arrange the support you will need during recovery.

3. Surgery day

  • Procedures are performed either at a fully accredited outpatient surgery center or at a local hospital, depending on the type and extent of surgery.
  • You are cared for throughout by an experienced, compassionate team.
  • Most patients go home the same day. Some procedures, such as a full tummy tuck, include an overnight hospital stay for comfort and monitoring.

4. Recovery and healing

  • Most patients see Dr. Hosn at least three times in the six weeks after surgery.
  • First few days: rest is essential. Swelling, bruising, and discomfort are normal and well managed with medication.
  • First one to two weeks: most patients return to light daily activities and desk work.
  • Three to six weeks: a gradual return to exercise and more strenuous activity.
  • Three to twelve months: final results continue to improve as swelling resolves and tissues settle.

Every patient heals at their own pace. We provide close follow-up care and are always reachable if you have questions or concerns.

5. Long-term results

  • With a healthy lifestyle, results from most procedures are long-lasting.
  • We discuss how to maintain them, including skin care, weight stability, and non-surgical touch-ups where appropriate.
